Salary:

The Brand Guild is looking for interns to join our PR team working within the DC hospitality scene, special projects, and local events. We are a creative and passionate group of experts across Public Relations, Marketing, Events and Creative that builds strategies, creates experiences and influences audiences to win for our clients. This is your chance to work with the most innovative, cutting-edge brands in the country-companies who are truly revolutionizing how we work, play, and live.

Our internships provide invaluable hands-on experience in the field, a fantastic work environment, and can offer college credit. Our PR hospitality intern will work directly with the PR team to assist in brainstorming sessions, concepting, and execution of campaigns, special events, and more.


Please note:

  • Internships are unpaid and require a minimum of 16 hours per week.
  • Spring 2023 Internships will be fully virtual. This particular intern will work on a series of local DC events and will be asked to support events on-site as necessary. Some events may take place after work hours or on weekends and are subject to compensation for those hours.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing/compiling research on existing and potential clients/brands
  • Assisting with the creation of internal and external materials such as pitches, agendas, and PR plans
  • Monitoring relevant happening, seasonal moments and trends in the DC area and communicating findings with the hospitality team
  • Compiling research on new and existing clients in order to assist the team in strategizing and brainstorming event concepts and ideas
  • Providing on-the-ground support day-of and during events, as necessary
  • Other tasks as required to support the goals of our PR Team

Requirements:

  • Interest in and love of the news and current trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exemplary attention to detail

  • Must be a solutions-oriented problem solver
  • Ability to work onsite for special events at at least twice during the internship
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
