About Prep Network

Prep Network generates exposure for high school athletes so they can compete at the collegiate level. We connect college coaches with student-athletes through our content, tournaments, and showcases, and create opportunities in the process. We are not your typical sports company.

Content.

We have nine brands, each with their own unique website, publishing more than 3,500 unique articles each month. Our scouts produce coverage by actively searching out new and upcoming athletes, throughout the U.S., at every level of play. We aim to discover, analyze and promote the "diamond in the rough" prospects who wish to play at the next level.

Tournaments.

We are the No. 1 independent grassroots basketball event operator in the U.S. with a growing presence in girls basketball and volleyball hosting over 100 tournaments each year. What makes us different is our niche combination of top competitions with high-quality media exposure for the teams that attend our events. We stock every one of our events with our scouts and fill our websites and social media channels with analyses of the athletes competing.

Showcases.

We host 100+ showcases each year for boys and girls basketball, girls volleyball, and football. These showcases host over 10,000 prospects who compete in front of hundreds of colleges, scouts, and other media outlets from across the country.

Job Description

You will work closely with our Event Operations team, executing pre/post-event operations in preparation for our event season. You will assist with creating and managing registration and event information pages. You will help coordinate the shipping logistics for our tournament equipment and supplies. You will also work with our staffing team, providing additional support hiring and onboarding event staff.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to function across a variety of software tools such as GSuite, Asana, and Slack. Someone who is curious and a team player, collaborating across departments is essential. Someone with the availability to work 40 hours per week from May through July 2023.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and staffing for all events
• Create and manage registration pages
• Manage shipping and inventory needs, coordinating location logistics
• Run the backend of our event websites, building the event pages
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Must have completed sophomore year in college working towards a degree in sports management or a related field
• Ability to take direction or work autonomously
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong organization skills
• Prior experience in working with G-Suites or the ability to learn.
• General knowledge of basketball, volleyball, and football
