The Senior Director will work closely with and report into the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Demand Facilitation (Sales) to develop and manage relationships with key decision makers in the digital video ecosystem within the Pacific Northwest (PNW) territory, as well as mentor and manage 1-3 sales directors in the territory. A successful candidate will understand the nuances of CTV/OTT, Online Video, desktop, mobile media buying/selling, programmatic and managed services executions.
In this role you will:
Create, implement and own a sales pipeline for the territory- both player and coach
Establish and build on strong relationships with highly-matrixed client organizations through the complete sales cycle
Determine client needs and ensure proper contract execution for managed services (I/O) buying as well as programmatic executions
Work proactively with internal teams to convey relevant and appropriate reporting to clients
Continuously grow revenue in order to meet or exceed goals, additional incentives in place for new business
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Directly supervise 2+ employees within the Demand Facilitation department
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Be accountable for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
We're looking for someone with:
The following computer skills: Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, Powerpoint, Showpad, Google docs
8+ years of digital ad sales experience with a demonstrated record of success
3+ years of management experience - preferably a player/coach background
Experience as a sales hunter who can leverage their existing contacts with independent digital agencies to build a large book of business
A high level of integrity, excellent presentation, organizational & communication skills
A proven track record delivering on and exceeding revenue goals from multiple accounts
A hands-on approach to tackling tactical/strategic work; a collaborative team player
Knowledge of programmatic buying and video adtech
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization with cross-functional teamwork and initiative
Experience in a busy environment and has the organizational skills needed to build and manage a large and varied account list
High emotional intelligence and ability to nurture, mentor and be others-focused
Communication skills that replace complexity with simplicity in written and verbal communications
Ability to distill key learnings in an ever-evolving marketplace and product portfolio

In California, the base salary range for this position is: $170,000 - $190,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
