The CO+I IPA Long-Range Planning Data Science team delivers Microsoft's Long Range Infrastructure plan using state of the art econometric/ML models, risk simulations and business intelligence. We are hiring a Data Scientist to focus on creating cutting edge econometric/ ML demand and capacity need models with focus on MSFT AI offerings. This position will focus specifically on the GPU forecasting to support the AI needs for Microsoft and OpenAI. Additionally, they will have to be able to leverage their software engineering skills to connect to various upstream and downstream systems ensuring the forecasting plan matches the execution. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain ADO pipelines, maintain Azure Assets (subscription, blob storage, sql database, key vault, etc.) in a secure and compliant mannerConnect to and build APIs for turning data science models into a full production systemApply their expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop demand forecasting modelsUnderstand fundamental business dynamics impacting demand, and develop automated analytical solutions for demand planningAbility to develop E2E models in R/ Python - including data manipulation, model building and business applicationsOtherEmbody our Culture and Values
