Position Description

The Senior Demand Planning and Analytics role is crucial to ensure teams have advanced analytics and insights pertaining to business and customer performance, the competitive landscape, industry trends and financial planning. This role supports the retail and institutional markets of our wholesale business nationally. The Senior Demand Planning Analyst meets with cross-functional team members to interpret sales analytics, reporting, results, and trends to transform it into meaningful insights that enable the success of our internal and external customers. This role develops and manages the monthly volume forecast and will be driving key customer inputs for annual strategic plan development.

The role reports directly to the Vice President of Private Label Commercialization and has high exposure to key contacts across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the creation, tracking, and forecasting of sales volume for internal customer teams (Strategic Accounts, Injectables, Community Pharmacy, Institutions, MedSurg & Specialty).
  • Prepares and presents sales performance insights and customer level analytics, forecast and budget analysis to leadership.
  • Analyzes sales trends and provides risks & opportunities by business segment.
  • Lead the commercial product strategy in monthly Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and reconciliation meetings and processes.
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators with various stakeholders of the Commercial, Finance and Operations organizations to optimize inventory and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Influences and inspires change through the delivery of insights (trends, internal and external insights, business context) in a simple and compelling manner with internal customers.
  • Recommends creation and adoption of new tools for advanced analytics in line with the customer and business needs.
  • Aligns with the Commercialization Managers and segment leads on their noted opportunities on both new business volumes and risks to base forecast.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a business analyst in a financial planning, demand management, business intelligence, market analysis, strategy, consulting, data science or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to partner cross-functionally.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High sense of urgency with ability to multi-task, work proactively and independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word).

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong business acumen and experience with SAP & SQL, preferred.
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills and eager to learn a variety of products and business functions.
  • Ability to drive initiatives through a highly-matrixed organization.
  • Work collaboratively within the team and across other departments.
  • Manage priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Education
4-year degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience

Salary: 93,300.00 - 124,400.00 - 155,500.00 USD Annual (Target 118K with 15% MIP)

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$93,300 - $155,500
