PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for an Electronics Engineering Technician for our Aircraft Power Electronics client in Kirkland, Washington.
Job Title: Sr. Engineering Technician
Job Type: 6 month+ contract - possibility of temp-to-perm
Schedule: Onsite - 1st shift (9/80)
Pay Rate: $42.00-$44.00/hour
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs engineering activities such as test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment. Works from knowledge, skills, and abilities to generate conceptual plans based on discussions, notional diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or layouts to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions. Determines methods or actions to remedy complex malfunctions. Design, construct, test and verify test equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Associates degree (AS) in Electronics Technology or related field, or equivalent electronics military schooling and experience required.
Demonstrates proficiency (typically 4-6 years of direct experience in the duties and responsibilities of the position)
Technical Skills:
Advanced Electrical/electronic circuit/component knowledge
Intermediate knowledge of computer SW and operating systems
Aerospace equipment test experience, such as DO-160 testing, preferred
