Operating Engineer Develop your engineering career at JLL!
The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.
You will work as part of an engineering team of 3 at a 2.9M square foot Class A office and residential building in downtown Bellevue.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am-4pm. On-call rotation expected. Compensation: $33-43/hour based on experience
WHAT YOU'LL DO Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: Retail central plant, fire alarm and automatic fire sprinkler system, Generators and emergency power, and smoke control Operate the lighting system, change bulbs/ballasts, plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, and general maintenance Use work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests Perform assigned preventative maintenance and inspection tasks Support on-call or emergency response situations Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, mechanical and DDC Comply with all safety procedures Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs Other projects and tasks to be assigned
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 5+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable Washington 07 electrical license Universal CFC EPA certification Seattle grade 4 boiler license Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive Strong customer service skills
