Job Description

Manager, External Audit Generalist (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Seattle, WA. Assist clients to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Applying business advice of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, proactively identifying and articulating emerging technical issues. Apply auditing standards and firm audit methodology, reinforce compliance requirements, and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Provide Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. Utilize the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring to focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of clients’ information. Provide clients value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. Contribute with unparalleled technical knowledge and specialization and industry insights to solving our clients’ needs. Supervise and coach teams.

 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $ 109,013/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Tax, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelors, progressive, related work experience.

 

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Tax, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

 

Certification(s) required: US CPA or foreign equivalent.

 

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

 

  • Utilizing various technologies to design and performing audit testing in a more efficient and effective manner;
  • Applying applicable technical accounting, financial reporting and auditing standards to support resolution of technical issues and ensure compliance with these applicable standards;
  • Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools; and,
  • Working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS), and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.

 

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

 

Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 40% required.
