Your role and responsibilitiesMain Accountabilities
1.Service strategy
Contributes to the development of the Business Line Service strategy and drives its execution. Supports the development of product/ system service strategies with the local Business Line Service organizations . Ensures systematic research and development to secure the Service product pipeline. Own the P&L for Instrumentation service in NAM.
2.Service growth
Leads the development of indepth NAM market knowledge and ensures acquired information is shared with the local Business Line for their use. Collaborates closely with Sales Manager peers to support their sales organization to actively promote our service offering at point of product sale . Invests and drives initiatives for profitable growth and increased market penetration of the Local Business Lines. Supports Business Line specific service product/system concepts and materials for marketing purposes. Drives NAM market transparency process through Local Business Lines.
3.Customer approach
Ensures Service organization is aligned and supporting local sales units of the Business Line Unit defined accounts. Supports serviceoriented customer feedback loops.
4.Operational excellence
Implements agreed delivery and performance standards to ensure consistency in quality and customer satisfaction across the BL Local Units on a NAM basis. Ensures that the Service of the Business Line operates, continuously improves and adapts to changing market needs.
5.Health, Safety and Integrity
Drives Service safety as a top priority. Enforces and ensures a Service safety and integrity culture throughout the Service organization of the AMC Business Line.
6.People leadership and development
Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Determines required capacity and skills of Service employees and invests in growing that capacity and capability.
